I've heard somebody else say "and if you see Vaxis in the bidders, too bad...."....anyone have any insight into who vaxis is.....individual / investment group / company? just curious.....

I've yet to see vaxis lose a drop....does it happen?

Once I got into the game two months ago I've gotten hooked, though I'm afraid I'm a year or two too late.....snapnames is dropping two names I really want today but I'm sure the usual crowd will be there waiting.....

people have been investing in domains for many years now... those are already well established and are the real players.

everybody that have come along just recently are overpaying and it is already a pretty crowded scene... there is still some opportunities, but you really have to dig deep.

I bought my first domains in 1997 and have some excellent names. My point was that 2 years ago, or even a year ago prices were much lower so it was much easier to make money.

agreed.

right now, chasing drops....hoping to get a good deal is near impossible. everything is bid up way to high.. it's ridiculous. i doubt its going to get better though.... it's never too late to get in the game, but as the industry matures and prices on domains will only keep on going up there will be very little left for those that are just starting out; smaller/medium sized players...which they can actually afford and stay within budget.

when they drop.

Therefore, I suggest all members reading this should stop chasing domains.
It would make my life a little bit easier. And, I'm sure you want to do that.

I have only been doing this for 2.5 years. Hopefully, I will catch some good names
in the future.

Up to now, they have been too expensive to grab.
