Why no LL.me domain names?

I tried putting in a LL.me domain name and it says invalid. The best I could get was LLL.me

Why is this?

It's typical of all new TLD's. The 2-letter names (and 1 letter names) are reserved. Expect the registry to auction them at some point.

Not really, the last time I've scanned there were thousands of those available.

Regarding two and one letter .me = the best will be .to.me and .2.me .4.me

We won't see them released in the next three-five years.
