You sound solid on the .mobi. I'm on the fence with .mobi and IDN's. I own a bit of both but I'm just not as confident. The one thing always remember with any new extention, you can do it with a .com. I guess we'll see in time.

On the fence? It doesnt cost that much to reg a .mobi name.

Its NOT what you can do with a .mobi, its HOW the user reaches you. Most users are not smart as you (us) about accessing the internet. They need some guidance.

If you got oranges, why not make orange juice!?

I have regg'ed allot of IDN's and many .mobi's. It's not the expense or the risk that bothers me. I'm just as excited about the possibilities as anyone in here. I just take a most realistic approach and a wait and see attitude. That doesn't mean I'm not investing or excited, maybe a bit skeptical. Cheers,

Especially the fact that WE are the ones that can MAKE dotmobi by develloping the domains to websites

I want to mention one extra point. Develloping is very simple. No frames, no flash and no heavy designs. The investments in time and money are not big. A simply designed website wih good up to date content is able to get high traffic. I expect the number of dotmobi websites will rice exponentially - News(sportsnews!), Livescores, Information sites, etcetera...

This is one of the strengths of the extension nobody talks about...

thing is great name, cos overture was low believe it or not. decided against it!
