Is the WLS going to put SnapNames out of business? It would seems so, since having a WLS subscription would automatically trump a snap.

But then why is SnapNames so supportive of the WLS? Unlike most domain service providers, they have been strongly in favor of the measure. I don't understand why this is so... it seems that their business would be more profitable without the WLS, or is there some advantage that they will get that I am overlooking?

SnapNames is partners with Verisign on WLS, so that explains it all.

Although, WLS might not survives Dotster's challenge of it, given that WLS was not a consensus policy within ICANN. Time will tell.
