Yeah, I was planning on developing into some sort of "Ugly Pictures" site with different categories and things. World's Ugliest Shoes, Toliets, Cats, Feet etc etc etc.

I would develop a site like you said in different categories, allowing user input; something like a set of world records, with polling.
Worlds ugliest - man, woman (may be affending), cat, dog, etc.
Try to make it humerous as well.
