Has anyone here implemented a forum using the WowBB product? I'm curious as to how well this tool compares to vBulletin, Invision, PHPbb, and any other products.

I like it, it's good. It also has the ability to have a paid section on your forum, something like on webmasterworld.

That option comes standard in both vBulletin and IPB. So its not really something special, I don't think.

That is a bit off. The IPB Yearly license listed there "$69.95/year" is not a lease license. You are entitled to run and use the software as long as you want, but you will lose support access and upgrade download access after the year is up.

Also "Board traffic statistics" lists IPB as "No", but there is a Stats section the Admin CP of IPB.

There are also a couple other things that are off with that chart.

phpBB is actually better supported than you would think. wowBB has everything you can get with a modded phpBB. Bunch of hacks are located at phpbbhacks.com .

Well it looks like just another forum for peopel to pick from but i will say the phpbb is the best as it FREE and Very well support as therey ways to get help Everywhere andlots of site devoted for phpbb! I like vb also but i not plan to buy it anytime soon as i can do with the free forums!

Wowbb admin area looks alot differnt than most adin areas on forums at vb, phpbb and ipb all have a related look!

I think that most all forums are goign to be very simalar just what ever you can afforad or choose to use!

I will also say phpbb has a great deal of hacks and stuff so i will say it most likey can have any feature that any forusm has! :wink:
