closed .ws domains - Are they worth anything ??

I don't think they're worth much... apparently trying to brand (there's that word that's coming up so frequently these days), .ws as WebSite or WorldSite isn't finding too many takers. I haven't seen any big sales in the extension, but there may be some I've missed.
That said, I kind of like the extension for development. Lots of good names left and the price has come down to reasonable levels at least some registrars. But this is from a guy who does little business with domains alone... I prefer to develop rather than just sell names.

Good .ws names have been selling from $35 to $350 recently.
Nice for development when pure keywords are hard to find. Check out some of the bidawinner sites. He seems to do ok with them.
I curently like them better than .net, .org, .cc, .tv.
Even if ya hate em, wouldn't ya like to have Poker.ws or Casino.ws, or Bikers.ws, or Bonds.ws, or Stores.ws etc.? You get the idea.
