Am looking to find out if this has any re-sale value. The previous owner inadvertently let it drop and is now seeking to buy it back.

It might have some credibilty to develop as a review site/blog for all news aspects of mortages loans etc.

Would be grateful for any comments.

Assuming you paid $60-$70 for it I'd say start at $150 and take any counter offer over $100.

the domain itself isn't that great.

If the previous owner is willing to buy it back after a drop, GET RID OF IT !
