CDs robbed you of a large fortune, still a top name for either vinyl albums
or a world record database, recording studio / company, any music theme.

The whois info matches his other post (sellsex.com).

Assuming the answer is yes, then you've got quite a gem on your hands. I'd think you're looking at ATLEAST low $xx,xxx, possibly upper, and maybe more if you drum up a recording industry buyer. Not sure who the end-user would be, but at a minimum I'd think records.com would be interested (different kind of records).

Looking at your ovt+ext and alexa rank you've got to be making decent money with the friendfinder site. May I ask why you're selling?

EDIT: n.b. those prices are end-user

Record.com is a premium name. Definitely will sell from $5000 to $10000 real quick for this crowd maybe more. Why don't you put this in for sale section to test the water and see how much it will go.

Best regards,
TW

CD's have been hot since the 80s, well before the explosion of the net, so I don't see it hurting this domain. I see the online database craze giving it a bump. It could be "record" as in "look up a person's criminal background record" or "has he got a record?"

Value? probably $15K on the open market as a sale to a single interested party. $100K if more than one person/company wants it. $2500-10K to a small business selling vintage vinyl.

I've got $500 authorized, you want to sell? ;)

If the 75k offer came without negociation, I say go for more. Obviously some deep pockets there.

Good Luck!
