Sorry, the 'x' kills it stone dead IMHO. Are you quite new to domaining? If you're serious about it I recommend upgrading your membership. Although I have a bias of course, I'd suggest that you'll find a wealth of information and ideas as a Platinum member that will recoup your investment in short order.

A word would work better that a letter for the domain.

The letter “x” does not describe anything. But VisitAustria.com (already registered) is an example of a site the clearly describes the nature of the site and holds value.

I hold www.yumx.com, and think its a hottie. So x can work, just depends where :)
 
different story possibly with a domain that is only 4 char
