Nice :)

Probably worth mid $xx right now, but if you develop it even a little and/or can provide some stats showing the domain gets traffic, then the value easily rises into low to mid $xxx, and even maybe, though a longshot, possibly into $xxxx range.

Again, to be clear, it's likely worth mid $xx now based only on the domain name alone; develop and/or providing more info about the domain will affect appraisals greatly.

Do you know who is it from? ... knowing who one is dealing with often helps when it comes to negotiations.

If you have no idea (which is likely since sedo doesn't reveal the name), then counter with like $500 ... or are you seeking out much, much more?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Sedo, since offers there can and often are withdrawn with no enforcement action by Sedo other than occasionally deleting the person's user account.

Anyways, without knowing more about how long you've had the domain, it's current traffic, etc, I can't exactly pin down the ideal ask / counter offer beyond simply basing it on a multiple of the initial offer ... ie $500.

Ron

I think on this one, if you counter $300 it will be accepted. Countering higher will either scare off the bidder, or just result in oscillation around the $300 mark still.

I think the name is worth $150, but you can get more.

PlayXbox.com recently sold for $550 on Sedo.

Is $550 asking too much?
IMO - if you use PlayXbox.com as a benchmark for pricing XboxChat.com, then I would dare say XboxChat.com is lower in value, thus I would appraise it at:

$300-$500

and FYI... IMO - I think PlayXbox.com was sold at the lower end of it's value, and could have gone for much more.

As you know, you have Time with this domain, as 'Xbox' isn't going to fade away anytime soon - if anything, it will only get more popular.

It comes down to whether you want to get cash now, or hold out for the bigger offer that may or may not come.

If you want to get the deal done asap, then reply back with a firm price of around $350 to $400 ... if they're offering $200, they'll likely go an extra hundred or two.

If you're willing to wait / risk losing that deal, then do nothing and list the domain in various venues; shop it around a bit to see what others are offering to pay.

Wow! Very nice offer :)

I'm confused about something though ... I just did a search on Sedo and xboxchat.com is not listed there as for sale eventhough it's parked there, but there is a $200 offer for xboxchat.info ... coincidence?

Does Sedo remove listings immediately upon the seller accepting an offer? ... Afternic in contrast will say the listing is "sold".

Ron

When you accept an offer, they remove it as being available for sale. However it remains parked.

Also, Sedo will not list the domain under Recent Sales until the transaction has been completed.

I wonder how much my newxbox360.com and xbox360previews.com AND xbox360guide.com is worth ?

Thank you to all those who have participated!

Mods, feel free to close this thread.

Ok. thanks for the clarification.

Again, good luck with the sale :)
