i bought www.xsnames.com a few weeks ago

since buying the site from the previous owner ive spent $160 on a vb owned license (bought from vb itself less than 2 weeks ago so a full year left) and ive spent $50.00 on a banner and logo being designed (banner can be seen at www.webmasterads.com on bottom banner rotating)

ive been wanting to run my own domain name forum for ages since like most here - that is what im involved in day to day. However, i simply do not have time to run this site and im thinking about the idea of selling it. Could anyone give me an idea of what they think its worth?

Nice looking design but comes over as being a bit dark - some lighter, friendlier colours would appeal more to me. And where's the auction

well actually i bought a domain name forum because i dont want webmasterads to have too many general webmaster discussions - as it would take away from what it was built for. So XSNames should compliment it in a way.

Im a bit annoyed that i cant keep it but its time consuming enough running one forum and working 45-50 hours a week!!!

anyhoo - theres no auction but im gonna listen to any reasonable offers for it - also the names registered til 4/8/2005_and ill install the site for anyone who wants it and show them the ropes with respect to running a forum like this

well im looking for $750.00 at the bare minimum - less than that its not worth selling it and id rather keep it to drive traffic to my other sites - obviously a site would like this would benefit someone who has their own domain name sales site

as much as I want to appraise higher, I don't see much value.

Take away the VB license and your logo and you're left with ????

im going to have to sell this so if anyone wants it for $600.00 ill sell it

* name at enom
* ill continue to host the site til you get hosting sorted
* site will be zipped up and placed on my server to download on saturday
* buyer will be granted admin status so that they can download the mysql database
* this should interest people with a lot of domains and could be used to advertise their domain selling site on it on top banner etc
* ease of transfer is assured - there are a few people who have bought websites from me before who are members here and loads of people who have traded domains with me
