Just had an email from the Pool .xxx auctions, here is the quote,

Now that TripleX auctions have started, we are seeing some exciting bidding including some auctions that are going over the $8000 bidding threshold.I just wanted to remind you that if you plan to participate in any auction above the $8,000 USD bidding level, you must pre-qualify in advance. Don’t wait for any of your auctions to get close to $8000 as you may not have enough time to get qualified and you’ll no longer be able to submit bids for that auction.

when do the auctions start ending, because I'd like to see some of the names being auctioned. I think everyone in them is keeping quiet right now.

Just joined Pool.com. However, I don't see .XXX listed as one of the search filters. Where does a person go to see .XXX listings?

pool.com was the host for .xxx private auctions. You had to register .xxx domains to get in the action.

.xxx domains were only auctioned off if two or more parties registered the same domain (I don't know where .xxx domains can be auctioned yet)

What sort of .xxx private auctions are we talking about? I registered numerous .XXX domains, but I don't remember hearing about this.

Do I understand correctly that the .XXX auctions at Pool were between people competing to be the 1st registrant of the domain? So these .XXX domains were applied for prior to general availability?

I haven't heard of any major upcoming aftermarket .XXX auctions. Any domainers out there who would like to share news about that?
