Yes, I think many sites with .xxx extension will have virus/spyware and no wonder people including myself like to block those sites with .xxx extension.

The bold part of the above statement surprised me, so metacert will label adult .com's .net etc as well. That will put all adult websites in the same basket.

Loading.xxx - if you have already wasted the regfee on it, you could make a fun site. Create a site with very pixelated pictures of naked ladies and the pictures would sharpen extremely slowly, just like in the dial up times (and when the picture would about to get sharp it would show some nerve wrecking stuff, up to you what). Retro Internet fun for teasing friends!

I didn't mind taking a punt on a few of the .xxx names, I had nothing to loose really I won a few $,$$$ in a best .mobi competition so it was worth the gamble. Time will tell and a few years of renewals. The names i have are specific to the adult industry, Key West and Brighton have a very large adult community, Adult Jobs is specific to the adult industry, Mums is the uk, Australia, etc equivalent of moms and Gay Bar says it all.
