.xyz Registrations Drop By 80,000 07/27/2014

Anyone notice that the .XYZ domain name registration number dropped by 80K over the weekend 07/26?

NameStat is showing the totals dropped down to 305,000 total registrations, when on Thursday, 7/24 the showed 384K total.

Could this be related to the Network Solutions deal offering its customers the matching .XYZ to their .COM? Any ideas?

In checking this morning (7/29), the .XYZ registrations are up again at 402,938 total registrations. Guessing this was a glitch...

As was said previously, it must have been a glitch... .XYZ registrations continuing to rise over the past couple of days, with a total of 413,620 this morning (7/30)...

Can't wait for the 1 year date to watch 95%+ of these drop. Unless .xyz is going to give them a second year for free to keep the numbers up.
