Names that you dropped years ago show up on a drop list.

when someone pitches a name to you that you us to own.

or when network solutions was selling domains for $50 for 2 years min. (the names i've could of own then :( )

you get the idea.
thought this would be a fun topic to talk about.

... the random letter combinations on license plates automatically make you mumble acronym meanings for them.

... your girlfriend leaves you puzzled when she tells you she is going to the hairdresser to get extensions.

Yeah the numberplates are making me nuts as we have 3 letters and 3 numbers on the plates. You can imagine! Sometimes I see the ones that are for sale on DNF or the ones I own.. We even have some funny plates with real English words, like "jew", "die", "gay" :D (not kidding, my foreign friends are always taking photos of them)
You know you are addicted to domains when you start to think about a new project with a friend and before you even went further than the topic you start thinking about the Perfect Domain.

You see a commercial for something new and rush to the computer to check if the .com is available.

You read an article and run to the computer to see if the .com is available.

You take notice of company's web site addresses in ads, even if they are 1-point font, and think "their domain sucks".

you know you've been domaining long enough when .......

you time your daily events like, running errands, going shopping, using the washroom :) around "drop time".

everything has to be done, before or after the 2 o'clock hour

too many times, i've forgotten the time :(

....When your chomping down breakfast in front of the TV and see a name you sold years ago show an ad for a full blown successful "2.0" website.
&
2 days later the new issue of Entrepreneur Magazine shows up with a full page article about the cool new site.

Nice to see they really did something with it. Not just re-park it

Ha! These are all great!

I am still laughing about two. One from MVL, and the other from draggar.

- MVL
"your girlfriend leaves you puzzled when she tells you she is going to the hairdresser to get extensions"

- Draggar:

This post/thread is great!

Thanks for the laughs!

Now, back to work...lol!

When your domains are older than your kids or been around longer than your second marriage.

And you have more domains in your portfolio than number of words in a decent dictionary.
