I havent checked the OVT but it must be huge.
Google Traffic Estimator says it doesn't get any searches.
Overture says the term receives over 57,000 searches per month, it has a Google result of 15,900,000.
Not too shabby.
I doubt there is going to be any direct search for the keyword 'young children'.
Not alot , maybe 5-10 a day, but thats good enough for me for a non branded site
Im most impressed with the overture and google results which is why I picked the domain up
But rest assured fellas that I wont turn it into a porn site - its gonna be much better as a parenting site
Um...what type of use would such a domain have?
Young children should not be on the Internet.
Google Traffic Estimator says it doesn't get any searches.
I have my doubts too and I personally think google keyword data is more reliable, but still I can't believe there is such a difference.
Neither should people in comas, but that doesn't keep sites about them from being made.
Google Trends puts it somewhere between the same volume as [horror movies], and slightly above [video game reviews] and [mortgage refinance]:
http://www.google.com/trends?q=vide...gage+refinance&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0
All of those are actual traffic terms. When I use Google Keyword External Tool it does in fact show an average search volume for that phrase:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
What tool were you using...?

Hey Mike, I dont like Google Trends I find it terribly inaccurate.
I was referring to this tool:
https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox
To the OP - sorry for going a little off topic.
Ditto on the apology... but just so the OP knows, that tool gives me this:
Keywords Search Volume Estimated Avg. CPC Estimated Ad Positions Estimated Clicks / Day Estimated Cost / Day
young children
$0.80 - $1.00 1 - 3 298 - 372 $240 - $380
so, 300-400 clicks per day. Not sure what you did to get no searches dcristo.
