I think you should put a contest on the site, that asks for submissions of brief pieces of writing. You can do it without prizes, and using a forum, as songfight.org does with songs.
Later you could add something like the
http://www.nanowrimo.org/
novel writing contest.
But all are for writers under a certain age.
Wonder if collegeboard.com or hottopic etc. pay affiliate money?
Just had a minute or two.
Can think of other aspects, etc., if you want me to, later.
Good luck with it.

I couldn't resist looking at google. YOu may be getting the traffic from the .co.uk version. See what they are and see if that suggests anything you can offer that their clients would like to see.
Check out the other "young writers" pages on google. See if you can get ideas and especially ways to make money at the site. Or just have fun with it. It is a great domain name and a potentially very good one for youth. You might find a way to get publicity for it and then use that publicity to advertise your other ventures. Again, good luck. Really got to run this time.
Okay, I love this stuff. I'm back for a second. Don't forget about Amazon.com affiliate program and putting links to books onsite.
also the Young Writers program that I assume is still at Duke University would be a good thing to link to, to add an air of credibility. I'll leave you alone now.
