Now, here we are three hours later, and GoDaddy still shows them available....on their site....but "taken" on their internal office query.

Yes. Godaddy is terrible with this. I only wanted to get 2 names to protect two of my .com's ...Godaddy said they were available...I paid...then got the message that they were taken. Whatever...I just want my money back as I should have gone with my gut instict and not messed with .me

I doubt you'll have a problem getting a refund from them, but they did a terrible job today on the .ME regs. I still managed to get about 10 that were decent, but the great ones I had that were available all bounced back.
