Last time I put this up for appaisal was over 1 1/2 years ago. I got 2 appraisals ranging between $15 and $40. Just wondering if the market for 3 letter .nets have improved and what you think of this particular one. I paid $35 for it in late 2002. Thanks.

Right nets have improved, your name twice more worth than last year appraised. 80$
But later (5-10 year) possible price for this name will 10K, patience.

There are two acronyms with these letters according to acronymfinder:

ZGI Gods River, Manitoba, Canada (Airport Code)
ZGI Zork Grand Inquisitor (computer game)

I'd say... retail value $30-$45, wholesale value, $15.00

Good luck.

Thanks. I think your 5-10 year outlook may be a little too optimistic, but I hope your right. :-D

I personally believe his theory of it reaching the $10,000 value within the next 10 years, is quite unlikely (Unless, a major event happens in the online world, and domain sales suddenly boom, or a large corporation launches with the acronyms "ZGI". I can however, see the value doubling each year.

retail value less than $300?

If you are following 3 letter .nets, this name can be sold on the spot for $150 right now at wholesale price.

Agree $150-$350 no problem - but will the bubble burst?

I always thought that a good acronym for this would be Zero Gravity Internet. I think there was once an internet venture capital fund going by that name. I was also thinking about naming my future company Zero Gravity Interactive and using it for that. There's also a biotech company called ZymoGenetics using www.zgi.com

Seeker and Mr Webname thanks for the appraisals. You know, I've never received any offers for it, but I never really actively tried to sell it either.

all bublles burst soner or later. The question is to now when the time will be to unload them...
IMHO, the rapid increase of 3 leters names was not caused by an increase of demand, as it should have been, but by a decrease in supply. Basic economics. They are actually not the same thing.
Because the 3 letter infos, biz and us are gone, they pulled up the prices of the nets.
However, since the internet is growing rapidly, I cant see the bubble bursting any time soon.

In fact, the 3 letter .nets valus have become more and more few.
No company will use ,net in these times, they use com or,us,or biz,or their ccTLD.
In my point,.net is no use now.
