personally, i like the new fabulous 4.0 program best.. it converts beautifully and pays for adult traffic more then all the other places.. i have found it to average out around 20-25 cents or so per click.

sedo ranks second i suppose, have gotten the best payouts and conversions with the keyword "adultportal" which has resulted in revenues of anywhere from 7 to 15 cents per click on average.. conversion of 35% is as high as i've gotten, not bad.. but still some room for improvement.

domainsponsor is terrible for adult traffic from my experiences with them, poor conversions (because of the google ads, which don't support xxx/porn) and i haven't gotten more then 3 cents per click... EVER!

domainhop is even worst then domainsponsor, they only have one or two at best, adult advertisers and the payout per click seems to be .02 or even non existent... but on the bright side, atleast they pay you for the visitors.. four bucks for 1k ($4 revenue/1000 uniques) so if you have lots of adult traffic and are desperate i guess domainhop is not that bad after all

anybody else have different experiences and would like to share? :eek:k:

I agree, Fabulous does have good payouts for adult domains plus earnings on sales. This most likely because of Dark Blue which has a large base of Adult Advertisers.

Sedo is not that bad, I get 10-12 cent/click but tend to get a higher CTR (43%) than Fabulous.

DS converts really well on a few of my adult traffic and but most don't do well there. Well is seems the reason for this after looking at the landing pages of the high earning adult domains, is that the top keywords that were auto optimized are Texas Holdem and Credit Cards.

I don't do too much in that area, but I agree that Fabulous has done the best when I have had a few adult domains.

unholy1, i think fabulous 4.0 threw in google ads in the mix.. saw a few ebay ads here and there for "xxx" and "girls" and so on, it kills me when i see the "buy girls on ebay now" lol, pretty lame... but anyway, its pretty silly when domainsponsor is displaying poker and credit cards ad's for adult traffic/audiences.. if visitors are looking for porn but instead end up clicking on something totally unrelated just because they are forced to it's not good.. that doesn't preserve traffic too well (which sucks for you because traffic tends to decrease over time) and i don't think the advertisers would be too happy to find out that they are paying like a few bucks per click and in return are getting some 15 year old kid clicking on the ads just for the hell of it, because..... we all love to "click around" don't we?

Try Sedo with "Female escort" as the keyword or "XXX word" and experiment with "word".

radistar, sedo doesn't have anything under "female escort" or "escort" either.. they use google ad's, duh!

and sex word, xxx word, etc.. show up microsoft ads which are totally unrelated to adult/porn

I think you need to read my post more carefully :-D
I didn't mention categories, I mentioned "keywords".

Step 1: add your domain under the Adult category e.g. Media
Step 2: optimize your keywords manually per my suggestion above

Until the domain gets accepted into the database with a default keyword, the manual keyword popup will display some generic portal.

For example: http://www.Paradise-Escorts.com

ah, got ya.. that's really weird on sedo's side then, why not display the actual ads that will show up once the keyword is accepted when you are trying out the keyword while "optimizing" the domain manually.... i'll have to contact them and ask whats goin on here

thanks again :eek:k:

NP. Like I said, that's a quirk with the adult categories only.
