Need to know how much these are worth. They are all dictionary words and can double as acronyms.

aga.in
cha.in
mav.in
sta.in
unp.in

mogul.in (significant historical relation to India)

Thanks!

Hello fkrule, are you serious?
When you say XXXXGBP, Do you really mean it, who will buy this in this big amount? As far as i think this domain is not more then its registration value of 18US$. Please correct me.

Its not right now but it will be in the future when the .in market reaches where .biz and .us is now.

I dont think any cctld other then(.us and .eu) can rise upto a high level, I have seen 3 letter .in domains in less then 25$ in these forums.
XXXXGBP seems a funny statement to me, it is actually worth like low XXUS$. maybe after 5 years i see not hike in 3 letter .in domains.

I've sold 3 privately for US$750 - US$1000. I do have a large protfolio though which I have held for some time and only sold a few, thus value of a VERY GOOD 3 letter combination today = US$80 - US$100

I believe it's worth about mid $xxx. I personally think .in has a better potential than .eu since

1) .in is a Country specific domain while .eu is not as focussed. For instance, people in the uk will most likely perfer .co.uk to .eu any day

2) India has a large population (billion +) and a growing middle class. Internet usage currently at about 3% has a big room to grow.

I think it's a really good three letters name. If you can wait 1 or 2 years, $xx,xxx.

I think that a name can`t have value based only on the fact of being a hack.

It`s a 3 letters indian name, it`s a hack of a normal word, we are not talking of a high expensive keyword like "credit"

I think that at the moment no end user will buy it so it`s just pure speculation and imagination unless of corse the Indian Government pops out and buy it for xxx,xxx like in Norway but I think it`s quite unlikely it is going to happen.
Personally I won`t pay more than 30 USD for it.

It's fascinating to me how the appraisals for this one are all over the map, and I'm fairly certain I know why. With this particular set of domains I honestly didn't think too much about the resale value when I purchased them. I registered them thinking of them more like art; The name had to have meaning, could be interpreted in multiple ways and was visually appealing. Looking at the reactions here is almost like walking into a museum; to one person it's worthless and another priceless. That's art for you... :heh:

~ nice to see all the opinions!

but what exactly do you do with it?

Wait, wirst we should ask what do you do with:

again.com ? That could be just brandable....butlimited use.

With aga.in the only hope is in 3 acronym to use.

I said I won`t pay.....but nothing stops anyone else to buy it for a million.

Yes, I undestand and there is no problem :) You know, I'm a big fan of the .in names because I think they will do like .us, for example, in the near future (sorry for my poor english, I'm french...)

But maybe I'm wrong and maybe the future of those names is very poor.
