I just picked it up..

I hate this extension with a passion..but I just could not pass up such a strong keyword combo with a million searches a month just on overture http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

Ok Izopod.. you broke me down..but this will be the ONLY .WS I'll ever hold... unless sex.ws drops :D

What is the best ticket affiliate these days ?

P.S. Duke I know you see the .WS and it's killing you that I actually bought one (after our equal despise of it).. just look the other way man..just look the other way

No...it's cool Bid :) Actually I have been having some second thoughts myself. Now there is no doubt that the extension sucks for reselling, however if someone is really going to develop one with a really strong keyword I can see how that could pay off with good marketing and search engine placement.

The other thing is that even though I have consistently talked .WS down, there is no denying that the marketing clout of a company like GoDaddy will sway a a bazillion times more opinions than I ever could.

The only .WS I ever sold (skating.ws) went for 250 DNF bucks (about $3 at the time) so I have been completely down on it as a worthless extension from a resellers viewpoint. Developing is a different ballgame because you can add a lot of value when you do that.

Yeah thats really the key, development.. with just a few good SE placements ..it should bring in some nice commissions.. just a matter of finding the best Airline affiliate program for it..

300 DNF Bucks for anyone that leads me to the best affiliate to use..

TravelNow is good for Air, Car and Hotel. They have recently upgraded their Destination Guides, which can be a real help in developing a site - you can pull in a lot of content, free and easy.

Another choice may be World Choice Travel (wctravel.com) - seems to be a little more "world" oriented - parent company based in UK.

I have gotten good and consistant checks from both. But, "ya gootta push hotels 'cause there ain't no money in Air."

I, too, admit to holding a couple of .WS names - one of which is developed and making some $$$ - and another soon will be - HAIR.ws - the "beauty" market pulls a lot of traffic. (Also have a .TO brining in some big bucks :) )

TravelNow.com is who we use for our travel site. We have rec'd commissions on flight tickets already, with very little marketing of the site. As mentioned above the travel guides are a nice useful feature that TravelNow offers affiliate resellers too add too their sites content.
goodluck!

OK Beachy 300 DNF coming at you..I am going to go with World Choice ..

I still have some travelnow links on my convention site but have never done very well with them..although I do like the "destination guides" ..but then again If I use those "d Guides" it will just be duplicate content with god knows how many other sites...so while I may not the most fluent writer , it will at least be original content..

I may still use TN ..but I am trying something new this time around.. thanks everyone..
