Well i don't think it's junk at all.
It's not a matter of if a "serious german co would use it".
It's a matter of
a) developing for instance a SE for it and indeed using AllTheWeb.com's growing popularity for it without risk due to their missing german TM
or
b) AllTheWeb.com buying the name for possible future use as a german version of their site.
If they don't buy - fine,then its developing.
If they buy - fine too, then its instant cash.
In both cases, the name is far away from junk as could be proved.
