I hate to say this, no disrespect intended to people in the Service, but I honestly don't think that many people care enough to bother finding anything on American Troops on a mobile phone.

reg fee indeed. There is a big difference between something being great and just adding a .mobi and hoping for it to be the same way, otherwise freebeerforlife.mobi would be worth millions.

I took a few mobi names out only using this rule- please understand I am a newbie here and not an expert, but alot of people on this forum do not seem to be helpful and give people constructive criticism, so I'll at least offer you some & use it as you wish. MOBI domains as I understand it are for mobile phones like the iphone & they have a better graphic interface with mobile phones then say.coms. By the way, anyone is free to correct me & I won't be insulted. As such, if you use mobi for a domain, you should be sure that the content would either be unique or stuff someone would want to see on a mobile type phone. For example, I took in3d.mobi & mybitches.mobi on the chance that there will be a marketplace for 3d domains on a mobile phone & "bitches", lol.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the .mobi...

This is only my third mobi domain, my first two are held only to protect my trademarks as well as keep them in case thety contineu to grow inpopularity.. This was the first mobi I ever bought just to have it. I rolled the dice cause all the other were taken, but you guys are probably right...

The only thing worse than giving harsh advice is wrong advice.
iphones do not use the shrunk down version of the internet !!! Its a real thing.
If you had an iphone you would know that.
The shrunk down version that .mobi is trying to market with that phone (although the tld really has nothing to do with it) you will find on regular phones, basically those type of phones that will probably be obsolete anyway in a couple of years. Its really just an additional TLD that has some great marketing behind it.
Some people are very positive on .mobi and scream and yell at everyone that has a different opinion and that they have some vision, but in the end everyone needs to make their own decision, if you look at the prices of LLL.mobis they keep dropping. You are probably a lot better off buying .coms off the drop than new .mobis

I would disagree that mobi's are dropping in value. You can still reg new names that will increase in value. Sedo auction is starting to bring in some good prices. These are mostly older reg's but I would not give up on them yet.
