Moniker have gone from being my maybe best registrar to probably the worst.
Communication has been nonexistent lately.

monte has recently commented on another thread where his support system was criticized for this lack of communication and promised to change that in the near future

I had an issue a few weeks ago and it was fixed within 2 hours of my email - on a Sunday. I did lose a couple hundred dollars as a result of the downtime a few weeks ago, but it was supposedly an attack of some sort. I still believe they're the best registrar out there though.

One would think that you would be reimbursed for the downtime.

Recently I called in about an issue, a trouble ticket was generated and the matter was resolved within 24-36 hours.

Moniker is still the very best in my opinion!

Well, it was for deleted domains. I tried to delete about 6 hours before the grace period was expired, but the downtime screwed the process up. Their terms say "Moniker will not be responsible for any domain names not deleted during the 4 Day Grace Period due to Registry or Registrar outages, or any other reason." So, nothing I can do - just SOL.
