Just wanted to get some thoughts as to what this domain name may be worth. I know it has more potential as a developed site, but I wouldn't know where to start.. Think it has any value just as a name ???.....

I definitely agree with you WRT development. I can't picture it being too hard to build a rudimentary formula gauging a domain's quality based on certain attributes.

As for the value on its own, I would say this is a solid mid $x,xxx name.

Thanks for the response. Quick question would you know a company or indivdual that would know how to set up something like that, I wouldn't know where to begin, but that is what my goal would be for this..Thanks

I can hook you up with a PHP developer that I know that can get all the back-end work done.

But what is up to you is how do you plan to determine the value of a domain name?

There are certain parameters that I'm sure you are aware of as a domainer (i.e. amount of characters, number of words/parts, overture score, monthly search volume, whether other TLDs are taken, etc.) - you need to write a very primitive code so whichever developer you work with can translate that into code.

Those parameters must then be aggregated to generate an integer that is equivalent to the dollar value that applies to the domain name.

There are many appraisal services for domain names that are instant... Estibot (www.estibot.com) is without question the best and most comprehensive one. There's also Valuate (www.valuate.com) and SwiftAppraisal (www.swiftappraisal.com). They all apply the same idea as what I described above.

No matter how good or well-written your formula is, you still need to be able to provide a service that is unique and superior to all other services.
