With my loyalties so divided, how do I choose which group to belong to? And will I ever be truly accepted in either one without my motives being questioned?
We welcome you with open arms, my son.

The more I see the madness people can commit in the name of religion, the more confirmed I become of its obsoleteness.
I read this in today's newspaper. "Only 3% to 9% of Americans report that they do not believe in God. Professor Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi's studies reveals that atheists are less authoritarian and suggestible than religious believers, less dogmatic, less prejudiced, more tolerant of others, law abiding, compassionate, conscientious, highly intelligent and well educated."

Well, we all know 99% of the wars that have happened are all due to religious beliefs.
I have a quick question about atheistism, what do you all believe will happen to you after you die? Nothing, just plan darkness?
What do you expect? Light?
Hey Fearless, if I plucked you out of your mother's womb right before the first cellular division, and whispered into your nonexistent left ear, "eventually you will be able to ride a bicycle", I doubt you would have believed me at the time.
Only a fool puts limits on "possibility". Mathematically speaking, think about the chain of events that had to occur to put you in front of your keyboard here and now. And I'm not just talking about the semen marathon we all placed first out of millions in, I'm talking about from the formation of the universe forward. Considering that, are you actually going to tell me what's probable, and what isn't?![]()

Uh huh huh... hey man, water kills more people per year than religion does. Someone should really do something about that.
And btw, World War II did have a HUGE religious basis. Why do you think the holocaust happened?
Even the Vietnam war had a religious basis...as democratic people, we didn't like Godless communism. So we wage wars...
hey man, death by water, disease, even Florida alligators is NATURAL.
I have it on good authority that in almost all cases, atheist alligators are vegetarians.

The following wars were religious? Shaggy, no more Marvel comics for you.
World War I
World War II
Mongol Conquests
Russian Civil War
American Civil War
Napoleonic Wars
Korean War
Vietnam War
American Civil War
The American Revolution
Taiping Rebellion
Those are the 1%k:
