Not so..

People does researches on ovt every day.
I've been contacted to buy a list of domains some time ago.. when I asked for a sample of 10-20 domains to check the quality I already knew 18 names out of 20.

I do find it interesting when a typo domain name is registered about the same time as it is posted online. I mean, that is just a huge concidence.

People are coming into this thread to see what names are posted and all they find is nonsense - it's wasting people's time. If you want to moan and gripe set up another thread somewhere else - this is not the place for it.

As a buyer, I often wait 24 hours to make sure my registrar did in fact secure the domain before I make donations. I have in the past thought I had a domain, only to find out that I didn't. I also don't post that I made a donation, I just make it. I would also point out that there are people who take these names and send them to "their" list as their own work and they get (donations, paid, recognition) and no whois searching is going to find that out.

it isn't unlikely that somebody takes the name and didn't see it here. If you check, the names posteed here are mostly dropped names, and were only just available. People use the same technique to find the names on the day of the drop.
