Any input is appreciated.

They recently caught one for me and with no auction. (An auction starts with more than one backorder when caught.)

Bidder ID 1 admitted he was added late in a private auction

Backorderzone.com deny adding Bidder ID 1 to the auction.

Bidder ID PING probably backorderzone.com

I'm sure you guys remember the domain FMOD.com had a $5000 place on a backorder on namejet.com
The bidder who won was PING= backorderzone.com
The domain transfer Firelight Tech.

i have been in many auction with the bidder PING i am 100% its not Firelight tech.

Firelight are not in the domain business there are no good reason why they are in so many different auction.

I have backordered domain pokermaestro.com there, deposited 49$ via Paypal, and after i won the domain in auction they have suspended my account , ignored my emails.

Something is very fishy about this service so i recommend

Aren't they behind the daily onslaught of spam about dashed-domains-about-to-expire?

Did you pay for the auction?
Did you get a refund?

Don't expect a reply to your emails.

I have some experience with them too. Recently I have back-ordered a domain at them and they did beat Namejet, Snapnames, Pool, Name, Hexonet and some others. I know this because I did backorder this domain too at all these other drop catchers. Of the +/- ten times I back-ordered a domain at Backorderzone.com, one was a success, so in my case they have a success rate of about 10% which is pretty good I think. Everything, bidding, payment and delivery went smoothly. Transfer-out is still pending, but I guess that won't be a problem too.

Final price = bidding price + $49 (1 credit). When you are the only bidder, the price is $49.

Hi guys, I just want to let you know that I have just also transferred a domain from Bellnames.com (Backorderzone.com) to another registrar, it went totally smoothly. You can also accept the transfer request manually (@ Bellnames.com interface), so you can even transfer out a domain name within one hour.

Before you start a transfer, make sure that you have registered the domain name more than 60 days ago, else there will be an error (this rule is valid @ every domain registrar).
