Wow - what a week in the domain business! A blockbuster $460,000 sale of a 2-letter .com heads the new Domain Name Journal Top Ten chart (and zooms to #2 on the Year-To-Date list). For the first time we also saw, not one, not two, but THREE .infos in the mainstream Top Ten! They ranged from $4,000-$10,000 as the new TLD continues to show remarkable strength for its age. Business has gotten so good that we even saw the biggest .WS Sale we have ever had reported!!! Read all about it through the link below:

Incredible!

I'm actually more surprised at the .ws sale price than the $460,000 one!

I think ME.com is worth a lot more. That domain has so much potential.

I agree - ME.com has tremendous potential.

However, how many people/businesses could step up and pay more.

Even Warren Buffett's stockholders would question the management for
spending $1/2 or $1 million for one domain name.

If it was ME. I probably would have sold it cheaper. Not knowing a true
value since you really don't have a lot to compare it to.

The important point from Duke's reports, is that,
the value of domains are rising.

And, this should benefit all of us in the short term.

anyone who would turn down that kind of money for ME.com, deserves a boot in the ass. I bet that only one out of every 500 two-letter .coms sells for that price, so the odds aren't in anyones favor.

I'd develop that domain. Forget selling it!. Honestly, I think thats one of the best 2 letter domains out there. I think I would prefer to have my.com though.

traffic to ME.com is not gonna be very directed, it might take as long as perhaps 250 years before a person makes 400k in traffic from that name.
