What can I do? :?:

I just logged in to my GoDaddy account to find that my most valueable domain, BTM.net is missing!

I tried the URL, only to find that it is being brokered for sale by BuyDomains.com of Rarenames Inc
738 Main Street, #389
Waltham, Massachusetts 02451
United States
+1.7818397993

This is my domain! What can I do about this? Is there any way to tell when and how it was stolen from my account? :upset:
Thanks,

Neil

yeah call GoDaddy, ask them what happen?

Someone has most likely stolen your domain and sold it to BuyDomains. I assume you called BuyDomains right away when you noticed this?

According to the whois history a dnforum member egyfun was the previous owner before Buydomains.

I don't think you should jump into the quick conclusion that they stole your name.
Do some research to trace back the previous owners.

BuyDomains didn't steal his domain, the thread title should be changed.

Ted from BuyDomains bought this domain on DNF back in July here, from DNF user egyfun which has been listed as the owner of the domain since April 2009. If anyone stole his domain it's this egyfun dude.

he needs to start with GoDaddy,,to see how this domain left his account.

egyfun bought a domain from me few months ago, and paid by wire transfer.

Don't jump on him yet.

interesting that egyfun left the DNS the same as the previous Registrant the entire time he owned it too...

I'm just saying...

just checked on namepros and saw was bought here i think
http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-auctions/575231-btm-net-auctions-lll-net-auctions.html

question is who is novaangel? also that owner owned from late 2008 if you search domain on np

egyfun/amr is a member on another forum ,with a good rep there i have to add, so i have pmed him to let know about this thread

mr. domains, how long did you own the domain? also i note novaangel has his account closed at np, but had quite a lot of posts so should be easy to marry up domains he/she had for sale

sounds like a job for jp, you out of retirement yet? ;)

actually checked both profiles on np and neither member left a trader rating , and thread was closed
so searched on dnf and found this:
http://www.dnforum.com/f529/btm-net-thread-342288.html

once again user: 'novaangel'

so we need amr and novaangel to clear up how they bought/sold
also mr.domains needs to say when he bought etc.

i agree with prof, title should be changed as clearly buydomains dont steal domains . only when they offer you $20 for a quality .com

PRED, you're onto something....
novaangel sold (or attempted to sell) a lot of domains over at NamePros... problem is, the owners of those domains are all different people at the time!

The common factors are:
GoDaddy & gmail/yahoo/other abandonable email providers

So... it is quite possible the OP in this thread is the true owner. Problem is, we all know that GoDaddy will not do a damned thing.

And the fun of watching domain laundering continues.

DomainLaundering.com available :-)

Isn't it obvious? It was the one armed man!
