I didn't know that FORUM appraisals were based for forum transactions which I think you will agree are low $$...good rates of returns ...but low money.

I thought my prices were to HIGH. then get told their worth nothing and hurt the eyes...now you say sell it for $100,000.

that would be amaizing huh. but it would demonstrate that even crappy names can be pimp't.

Texas Filly and Adoptable Domains have been pimping me well.

Afternic has also shown be crappy names sell for 300, 500 and 700.oo

forum sells for 20, 30 and 40.

this is good for everyone - We all learn best from "newbie" pimpers!

But my domain does get over 1000 hits per day, and because I am not totally clueless when it comes to pricing my domains, I am offering it up at a few thousand. Some people think I am over charging - yes, but I have had some good offers from people on this board who would be willing to pay that amount, so at least I realize my prices are realistic - you find a respected member of this forum willing to pay you over $100 for ANY of your names and then we can talk!

I have no affiliation with gwbush04.com. It attacks bush and that is what misdirects bushes traffic.

I have no affiliation with www.whitehouse.com yet I wouldn't want my family there. Imagine if www.thepresidency.com was to be like his / our country's home name as a domain ended up.

the campaigns have $$$$$$ for tv ads. some $$ could really go to online campaigning for them to build relationships with voters to go vote...remember his last election. apathy will have a price now that I created 1700 one of a kind properties that used to not need to be considered, I am confusing the traffic. 5000 hits a week for the last three weeks.

Yet the forum is unanimously stating they are worth 0. Imo that too is realistic. Afternic is demonstrating what realistic pricing is.

I didn't start off knowing or planning about "clicks" or "length of word" I started off with the determination to prevent porn on sites that kids would go to for presidential matters, and to develop virtual, grassroots, townhall opportunities for people to express their freedom of speech rights and campaign their views to post or to attract campaigns as a defensive solution to attacks. I mean, wouldn't they like a solution to the non stop commmentary each channel gives the viewers to slant the campaign? ...

Ugly duckling domains can sometimes be transformed into swans. You never know how some silly names can catch a lucky break with the right promotion behind them and turn into money makers.

I always like to point out that in the beginning would anyone say these domains had value? Yahoo, Google, Lycos, MSN, AOL, Match, HotMail, Napster, Kaaza, etc. etc. Seriously, think about it. Take this forum back to the Net's beginning and if you posted how much is the name google.com worth all the replies would be $0 not worth the reg fee. LOL

It's all about branding. That's the true bottom line secret to the name game. And it will always be about branding.
