The new weekly Domain Name Sales Report is out at DNJournal.com and it was a simply spectacular sales week for the industry! There were two 6-figure domain sales and seven more in 5 figures! .TV made its first appearance on the Top Ten - hitting #3 and keeping .com from making what would have been the first clean sweep of the Top Ten. A mid four-figure .info sale led the New TLD chart with a four-figure .biz was #2. There were even .ws sales to report (a rising tide apparently does lift ALL boats!) See all of the details about the busiest sales week of the year here:

Duke, you should mention that GrandCasino.com, was brokered by me. And where is cellularphones.com at 6 figure price?

CellularPhones.com did not sell in the past 7 days. The WhoIs record shows the last update was April 17. If it sold last month we would have been happy to report it at the time if someone had provided the information. If you had a role in the GrandCasino.com sale you could have reported that as well. We do not have ESP, it just seems like it because of how much we do report :)

Great Article.

I should have guessed something was brewing with the .ws domains, especially when I realized you had registered some great one worders like

Coupon.ws
Quotes.ws

And today you beat me to the Perfume.ws registration.

Great article. There is always much hope when a domain like "FixMyDrains.com" goes for $8,979 :)

" Sedo sold a pair of .ws domains: NikeSports.ws ($480) and UsedBooks.ws ($240). I'm not happy about that UsedBooks.ws sale! I actually owned that domain before dumping it on one of the domain forums for $15 last summer after deciding two-word .ws domains weren't worth bothering with! On the other hand, maybe it will pay off in the long run. If you buy your domains from me there is a good chance you will get a 1,500% return on your investment in less than a year, so let's hear that phone start ringing"

Whats your number again Ron ? ;)

Very nice site Duke! It is good to see that domain names are starting to draw more interest and higher prices again.

Perhaps I'll have to put some of mine back on the market again :)
