If it never occurred to you that these might be adult names, then why have "girl" in the domain name. I mean, lets just be honest here - these names are targeted to the adult market. When someone says "cam girl", they are talking about cam models, so lets not skew your question or try to make it so innocent.

The valuation is ALWAYS arbitrary; you might get an offer for 250K for all I know. The buyer would be stupid, in my opinion, but so be it. We have to look at it through the lens of being a reseller unless you present something different. I can't construct some pie-in-the-sky scenario for you where these domains would "clearly" fetch 500K.

I am not an expert in the international market. I have just a cursory knowledge. If you say hypens are great in your market, then I have no choice but to believe you. However, I can tell you - despite your guru status in SEO - that hyphens make zero or negligible difference in the major US search engines. If your market demands something different, then by all means you should target.

Further, you should not blanket everyone in the US as being ego-centric. I, personally, don't think the whole world revolves around our nation. By the same token, its the best viewpoint I can give and, frankly, its probably the market into which you would sell these domains.

Overall - and I tried to make this clear - I think the domain names are good. But unless they are branded and bookmarked, how do you communicate them to the end user? Don't you think webcamgirl.com and camgirl.com are going to get the majority of your type-in traffic? Again, the hypen hurts it - not fatally - but it hurts.

By the way, if you have received such high offers, why didn't you sell? Are you holding out for that 100K? If so, it will never come.

You SEO guys always crack me up - I cant think of a bigger scam than SEO as a business. That said, you are the one making assumptions: 1) that I am conservative 2) that I am not an expert. Further, I don't know how George and his Administration enters the camgirl and domain discussion, but I bet the AG would investigate it and throw some people in jail for obscenity, given the opportunity.

You can fiddle with your HTML and META tags all you want, but the search engines are smarter than you. Like I said, hyphens may give you a slight advantage, but (and I don't want to erode your customer base by letting them know the truth) its not worth the confusion for the end user. How do I know? I worked for Yahoo and I worked for Google and I have seen the code. So, lets get back to the original question.

Once again, your domains are fine - not great, but fine. In fact, I think they are well above average, but you are still going to be second place to the non-hyphenated versions. So what if you get ranked a little higher in the engines - people are going to type it without the hyphen and you are going to have a hard time capturing that logical traffic.

I thought I was acknowledging your very valid points while injecting my own opinion and facts, but clearly you are way too smart to listen to anyone else. I mean, why ask for opinions when you know you can rank these domains #1 and #2 with your SEO expertise and make a fortune with Adsense? In fact, you could take IPickMyBoogers.com and push it up to #1 for camgirls - why not do that?

You seem to suffer from several psychological problems, but the most relevant is "registrant's syndrome" - the neurological condition that overwhelms the mental reasoning and convinces a person that their hyphenated domains are worth millions of dollars. Discovered in the 19th century and expanded upon by Freud, this disorder also causes delusions of grandeur, uncontrollable diarrhea, impotence, halitosis and sulfuric flatulence. I know you have complained of these symptoms in the past, so if you continue to experience them, please see your primary care physician or discontinue your domain purchases.

Normally, I would say 1 billion dollars, but since you are on the verge of a psychotic break, I am going to cut it in half to 500 million dollars (I hope thats what he wanted to hear). Seriously, if you can't handle a sincere valuation, then don't freakin post them and ask. Go optimize some meta tags or something and let us professionals handle the important stuff.
