Hello Everyone, please your advice on buying old domain names at from expired list with spam scores that have large numbers of exact match, previously used and have some traffic stats? Thanks for sharing.

Create a site, add some content, add the domain to GSC, and wait...

I mean you can but that depends on how much effort you are willing to put in expired domains with some spam score. Any expired domains with a spam score of between 0% to 30% is okay but I wouldn't buy any domains above it because then you need to do work to disvow toxic backlinks and create high-quality content etc...

Check backlinks and history—high spam score often means future SEO trouble.

I picked up a couple of expired domains before and some had issues I didn’t spot at first. Running an ip blacklist check saved me from using one that had been flagged by multiple spam databases. It’s quick and gives some peace of mind about the domain’s past. If the IP shows up clean and you like the name, it might still be a solid pick even with an old spam score.

I can assure you that spam score is a completely irrelevant metric by an irrelevant company. I have zero clue how they are still in business after all these years.

You might as well go to Google and type "0 to 100 number generator" and consider that your spam score. Might even be more reliable.

If you want these domains for SEO purposes, then make sure you check their history through Archive or Domaintools. Hosterstats, that is hosting history, will tell you plenty as well.

Once you see signs that the domain has been "abused", it's better to stay away, IF you want it for SEO that is. Do not rely on the spam score.
