that is the mindshare i talk about...the things that pop into your mind when you see and hear the name

that mindshare can be share between two or more names

for example ... i own both DNLatino.com and DNHispano.com

they both share a very similar "mindshare" but DNLatino.com is more
valuable in my opinion

why... first when you google Latino and then google Hispano...Latino get
160 million hits while hispano gets only 16 million hits

next...Latino is shorter and easier to spell

but both have value that is much higher than ther zero traffic

because the DN with the Latino make it TMarkable and unique

an people now know--or are learning what DN means

when DN was first used as with DNforum.com--- people did not know what DN meant...at least not many

Only $7,000 for that awesome set of brandable domain names? No way, Jose (pun intended)! More like $7,000 per name!! In all my time appraising portfolios, I haven't seen a better set of brandable names.

Ok, I'm joking. You requested us to spend our time looking through that set, so the least I could do was enjoy some humor. I think if your broker said you could get $7,000 for those names he is either just being nice to you or he doesn't have a clue about this business. If he DOES get you $7,000 for these names, please give me his name and contact info. All kidding aside, I don't think you could get $500 for the set here or on any other venue.

Take some time to look at DN Journal sales results, this and other DN forums, or even Ebay, to see what names are selling and at what prices. Sorry man, but this set isn't really good.

I appreciate your opinion ... and you may be right ...i may not get much for this set of names...but it wasn't easy for me to have gotten them...it is very difficult to get .com names especially at this time and they have the potential to work if developed properly

so you are telling me that the avg price per name should be 500/316
or $1.60 per name

That's a huge play on the word(?) "harvezt." I agree with others that you should go for it if someone at Sedo can really get you that much money. Otherwise you are going to pay every year to re-register these, and there will be little income to offset these "expenzes".

It's always a mistake in my opinion to show a very large number of domains. In any large group, 90% will typically have little or no value. If there are any with value, the perception of that value will be diminished by association with the huge number that have no value. In a set like this, 95% of the value will be in the top 20 or so names. You need to pick out the 20-30 names that are best and go forward with those. The others won't increase the selling price any.

Anyhow. I think you could probably turn around and sell them as a bulk lot and get something for them.

At which point in time I would use that money to buy something else. Quality, not quantity.
