ok....so the answer is no...you don't have kids.....:)

usually the "oh i want one"...comes after the "can you buy me that "?...especially when mommy/daddy says no......:)

kids is a prerequisite to marketing children toys? I think it's more a question of being a kid at heart

kid is walking down toy aisle... "oh i want one!" ... No u brat .. " BUT I want one" .. stop it i bought u bla bla... "pretty please!" mommy .. :)

I like your name though, gl! it's a good combination..

You might want to cover your bases and reg canyoubuymethis.com buymethat.com, buymethis.com, etc.

Otherwise it's a good idea. Looks like you know what you want to do with it. Not much to say on the value now, but in a year from now you might be laughing.

Good luck!

Being at the older end of a family of 7 kids myself and having kids around me almost all day every day then I would totally disagree with the use of the word "buy" by kids....it's either "I want" or "Can I have/get".

There's 1001 children's toy/toy review sites out there and unless this one intends offering something different/special then it will be lost amongst the rest. The "copycats" are already there and you are late to the table with your idea.

This domain isn't strong enough to stand on it's own two feet and although it is brandable it's going to take a lot of resources to develop it into anything other than just another online toy/review site. The Keywords within the domain aren't powerful enough to give you any edge and if I was looking to develop such a site then I would rather register CaleyDToyReview/s.com than pay a premium for what is no more than a saying which people are unlikely to type in to any search engine.

Any value here lies in the ideas the domain sparks and not the domain name itself.

caley, there is no defined expression.. which was my point earlier.
There's still some similar names to one posted that are still available, and there are some that have been taken for years.. If this idea does take off, I would hate to see the flooding ripping it off.

but i hve to agree, kids use "I want" probably more than anything.

Thanks CaleyD.......im looking at the brandable aspect of it.......not looking for the type-in traffic....there are many sites out there with no type-in traffic that are VERY successful......because of the branding...:)

Now, my first language isn't english but I can just not imagine kids going "can you buy me that", I'd think it'd be more along the lines of "can I have that?"

reg fee from me as well

iwantthat.com looks ugly with double T

IwantONE.com more readable (taken, and established).

On that note, CanYouBuyMeOne ... is avialable tony! take it if you back it!

I can tell you from experience...breaking into a very well established industry like toys is much harder than one may think. It can literally take millions of dollars, and I am not even talking about brick and mortar.
