I plan to start an e-commerce site
Could someone suggest a good bargain for me, which means the best price and lot of goodies (cgi sript, etc etc)

Depends on what you need. I have a site with ehostpros.com for 4.95 per month that I'm currently trying to set up a shopping cart on. PHP/SSL/CGI/mySQL is included. It depends on how much you wanna pay, how much technical knowhow you got, what services you definitely require.

Cheap is good..
but with Cheap , you can expect Cheap Service/DownTime.. etc.

On our 'core biz' websites, we have always paid for top of the line hosting through The Pair Network: www.Pair.Com Which is also an Registrar.

On our 'dom's for sale' one pagers or simple sites.. we go with free hosting through: www.NetFirms.com (have'nt had any trouble)

and another great host provider, is our network friends at:
