I've been out of catching .coms for a while but a friend wants help grabbing a domain that went pending delete today... Who should I place orders with to have a decent chance at it?

If you really REALLY want it and it's only one name then you should backorder through all three of the big boys: NameJet, Pool and Snapnames. That is probably the best way to guarantee you'll get it.

I had orders at namejet, pool, snapnames, name and hexonet. The domain dropped yesterday, chalk a win up for namejet.
