I've developed a system that allows $6.95 Enom resellers to create $6.95 reseller sub-accounts. Check out RegistrarResource.com to see a fully functioning demo.
There are a few websites out there that create RETAIL accounts at $6.95 (dnbag.com). However, this system allows you to create RESELLER accounts. The reseller accounts feature a system similar to Registry Rocket, so your resellers can simply set a price, point customers to your website, and watch the money flow in.
I'm selling licenses to the script for $400, plus 20% of all revenue from the sale of reseller accounts. I'll be selling no more than five scripts for now- another small-scale offering may occur next year. If you are shorter on cash than on domains, I may accept payment in the form of a two-character domain or a GOOD three-letter .com.
REQUIREMENTS:
-An Enom Account
-I'll have to ask you to file a support request to get the API set up.
-A deposit at Enom. To make a deposit without transaction fees, consider paying via check.
-A BUSINESS PayPal account
-A website that supports Perl. I estimate that the script can process several thousand registrations per day without encountering trouble. That is, you'll be making thousands of dollars a week before you need a faster script.
-The perl module IO::Request (99.5% of servers have it)
-Sendmail
$400 INCLUDES:
-All 16 CGI files (programmed in Perl).
-Installation on your server
-Configuration to meet your needs- switching to your PayPal and Enom accounts, and setting prices.
-The unmodified/unconfigured HTML files on RegistrarResource.com
-Free updates.
-Support for 30 days
OTHER FEATURES MAY BE CUSTOM PROGRAMMED FOR A FEE:
Here are some ideas...
-Offering several types of paid accounts (probably $75- $250, depending on your needs.)
-changing the design of the script, using templates you provide (probably around $125)
-offering free pushes (probably around $100)
TERMS/TIMETABLE:
No resale rights will be provided. Buyer receives license to publish the script on one website only. A $100 deposit is required before I start work on your script. The rest of the payment is due in full before the program is posted to your website. Depending on whether I have one purchase or five, your site could be ready in a matter of days or it could come in a month or two. Limited refund policy- see below.
REFUNDS:
I'm one of the few programmers to offer a partial refund on Perl scripts- I know I can trust you guys not to steal my code. If within 7 days, you're unsatisfied with the program, I'll give you a $300 refund after you've removed the program from your website and deleted any copies you may have made of the program.
