does anyone know a plugin for MS word, or even better a standalone search tool to search text files by entering a bunch of keywords and having it output the results on a specific window?

I am sure we all use different search tools, just wondering if there is any specific program that is highly recommended?

on the Mac, using Applescript, it is easy to program a custom made one, and I am already almost finished with mine, so once its all ready, i will post a link for it here so whoever wants it can download it. it works with mac OS X.
Just wondering if there is a similar alternative for windows.
Not just searching single words, but by entering for example
"domain, example, life, health" and it will scan the text file and display all resulting drop names from a text file that have those keywords.

Thanks

no windows, but the 'grep' command on unix can do this, I would think it is on Mac OS X?

never tried the grep command.
I pretty much have the additinal script done for Mac Os X that does this.
It is an Applescript that I added onto a a 'lite word processor' like program, and now I can give it for example a search term like the one above, and it will return with all the values that are found being displayed in a new window and without multiple listings. For example, If a search is dont for 'aff' and 'guide' and one of the names found is 'affiliateguide.com', in theory it will be displayed twice as it was found on 2 different searches, but I have taken care of it so it returns it once.
