while i stated it somewhat light heartedly i personally intend to do JUST that with a few of my .MX domains that are in English. So far google is being very kind to them and i have a few high end products selling just fine.

makeup.mx, now put an amazon store on your site and take a share of the makeup.* domain cashshare.
