Go to www.webmasterradio.fm tonight at 7 PM EST and log into the chat/loundge to ask questions, interact with other domainers and SEO experts.
Tonight my special guest will be Matt Cutts from Google.
Matt Cutts works for search engine Google as a software engineer, a position he has held since January 2000. Matt wrote SafeSearch, which is Google's family filter. Besides Google, Matt has also worked at a game engine company.
Before Google, Cutts was working on his Ph.D. in computer graphics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a master of science degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, and bachelor's degrees in both mathematics and computer science from the University of Kentucky."
We will be discussing the following on the show tonight with Matt:
- The new nofollow tag: what it is and how to use it
- increasing the Google query limit from 10 words to 32 words
- Google Suggest: using it as a webmaster and site owner
- foreign Google domains: how searching outside the United States works
- Google video search
- Some secret tips and tricks (e.g. phrasing as question answered)
- SEO advice
We look forward to another great show. We will also have archives of all previous shows both in transcript form and recorded feeds available within the next week or two - at www.Moniker.com.
