Don't some people pay 24-36 months revenue?

I agree with dvestors. You have there a nice project. It is a matter of expectations: Is the ROI going to stagnate, decrease or increase? And for what period to come should that be expected? Things can go fast on the internet. I guess that a potential buyer should have an idea to improve ROI for at least 25%, and over a longer period than a year. Then resell it. So, $547.50 seems break-even, and 25% is some $136. It depends if You want to get rid of the domain, or make profit. A domain is worthless, if not yielding any ROI. Success!

Not really even planning on selling this site but everything is currently increasing and will be as long as I work on it and market it effectively. Adsense is up to $3 for today but its only getting like $0.05 a click and has about a 4% clickthrough rate.

At $3 a day you could easily sell for low $x,xxx

Does the site have a lot of type-ins? (I saw the google pages etc just curious about type-ins for the name)

I have before, but it depends on the domain/site, and it's potential for me to optimize. If I don't feel I can increase revenue I won't pay past 24 months. I don't like waiting more than a year to start making a profit (unless it's a substantial profit then I can wait..) but domains that make between $1-$5 I usually won't pay more than a years worth. But that's just me. :-D

I believe most of the traffic is from search engines
Traffic and revenue have both been steadily increasing since last month. Last month had only 1795 unique visitors, this month so far has 7737.

I consider paying 24-36 months only if the site is currently under-optimized, e.g. I think I can make some changes and actuall convert it to a 12 month payback period.

Its nice to know that info austin. I actually think that every website is under optimized. I think that any website, in the right hands, can be increased in its potential. One person can only take a site so far. Then the next person comes along and takes it even farther. Thats just my rationale
