I've been with DomainHop since the first of July, and have seen my revenue go down consistently each month ($60-$50-$40-$20-$20 (est)). My number of unique visitors is relatively constant, but my click throughs are through the floor.
It was only recently that I realized what is going on. d
They are trying to have all links open in a new browser window, which invokes most pop-up blockers. End-users are getting their clicks blocked, and considering the demographic of people who actually visit typo domains/keyword domains, they are not smart enough to disable/bypass their pop-up blocker, and simply go elsewheree. The number of end-users to install XP SP2 or other pop-up blocker in undoubtedly increasing each month, thus explaining the downward revenue trend above.
I wrote DomainHop to request they modify their links to open click-throughs in the same window. My first response indicated that they did not fully understand the gravity of the situation. I wrote them again with a little more clarity and force, and am now waiting for a reply.
Has anyone else noticed a drop in their revenue from DomainHop over the past few months? What are the other parking sites doing with their links? Has anyone else contacted DomainHop about this?
