Being most of my names get 1-10 views a day tops, will just inputting a search term in search bar help optimize DS page , I dont like clicking on advertisers but would have no problem inputting some keywords in search I no are relevant. Thanks in advance

Fatter -

If you have some low traffic domains that are taking some time to optimize, feel free to perform some searches as this should help speed up and target optimization on your ds landers.

I would suggest devoting some time to develop domains and market them and they can become good money makers...!!

Thank you so much, it’s a great idea! Much better than waiting weeks until optimized!

Tried inputting search terms for a few days, and my domains are still loading the standard landing page. Some of these domains were averaging 10-15 uniques/day. I guess the "auto-optimization" process takes a long time.

Thanks,
DD

Yes, this is the principal disadvantage of DomainSponsor and auto-optimization. You have to be patient. I have some names that seem to take up to 4 weeks to optimize. And then, you need a month of data to draw any kind of conclusion. So, if you try out names at DS, unless they are high traffic domains, figure that you need to give them at least a month, and better 2 months to see how well they will do.

Thanks for the info HiOSilver. Guess I'll have to be patient and see what happens.

Thanks,

Domains I started to park at DS a few weeks ago are now paying out like 5 times as much each day!

As said above, patience really is the key with DS

How much traffic were these names getting?

I've just moved to a DS premier account a few days ago & am already making more than I was @ Sedo... some of my names have a lot of traffic (100-300/day) while others don't have much.

How long do names with 100+ uniques/day take to optimize?

My guess is a week or two max for that amount of traffic.

the ad generators will optimize pretty quick if your traffic and clicks are consistent.. when they look up the keywords/ads clicked on and match them up together well then it takes only a few days.

too bad they dont give us the option of inputting the first keyword to get the ball rolling, and then let it optimize

They do...to help optimize a domain, enter relevant keywords in the search field...just don't click anything yourself.

Does DS pay for uniques or just for clicks?

You need a lot of traffic for a premier account.

Well, since they offer the option of using popups, you can get paid on uniques if popups are on.

I have several names making 1 or 2 cents a click will optimization start getting relative links that payout more, I am learning patience in all this I want it now, also does proredirect being we can name site and put our own keywords in give better placement in SE than just url forwarding, I will wait about a month but am losing on some names because sedo pays 10-17 cents a click for same names
