LOL Luc. Someone needs to buy it and shut the website down immediately. Just forward the traffic to this forum. The "weak gettting weaker" is a byproduct of this economy. Good Riddance.

I hope everything works out!

I just post the information that.... hopefully is useful and interesting to members. Once in a while i manage to buy or sell a domain...lol

So please do not shoot the messenger...it looks like it got "a little hot" in this thread for a bit.

Peace To ALL!

What with the rise of blogs and social networks like Facebook I am sure forum participation must be down most everywhere. It seems like anyone who is even mildly well known has their own blog and are hard at work promoting it.

For example, I have my own blog plus over 400 friends on Facebook now (mostly domainers) which may be a wider circle vs the forum boards. Since they spend so much time on their own blogs or FB there would be less and less time for forums.

This scenario could be similar to the big decline of forum chat which went from very popular 10 yrs ago to an ongoing decline to today's levels where chat is rarely used.
It would not be surprising to see other forums in adition to DomainsState.com close or sold too.

Well said. My thoughts exactly. Sad, yes. Surprising, no. Just a sign of the times. Blogs are IN, forums are OUT.

So those who were banned over at DomainState please stand up. LOL!

Just want to make clearer that when I said there is at least one jerk among the moderators, I am NOT referring to DomeBase, who was actually once the fourth moderator, and is a good friend all along (he stopped posting there since 2008).

It's sad that there are, or were quite a few good men over at DomainState exclusively. Goh is one of them, for those who still remember (he stopped posting there since 2007). Let's hope with the ownership change, we could all meet and chat again (I stopped posting there since 2006).

I would be one of the banned, but for a rather stupid reason, I called them "domainnazi.com".

Not to bring back an old thread, but just visited DS to see how the new owners are doing. How do you think they are doing there now a year after the sale?

They are doing fine without me.

---------- Post added at 09:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:11 PM ----------

They are now rss fed, so I think that is about as low as they can get.
