DomainTools Gold Membership, is it worth it?

I have been thinking of getting a Gold Membership at domain tools, but I am wondering what you all think. Is it worth it? Is there a similar service that provides better information at a better price?

That's basically all I want it for, as I am spending more and more money on domains I would like to know a couple things about the seller and previous owners...
