Hi Gang,

I need to give you some background first. I have built my Dot Commerce Incorporated up to 1,200+ domains & over 400 websites and have used this www.dotcommerce.com as it's main page. I also own DotCommerceIncorporated.com as an alternative backup DN (but not one I would care to use).

I have just been approached by an individual that wants to buy this domain from me for a new project he and another investor are working on.

What do you think DotCommerce.com is worth in the current market?

I think 5 figures ($10,000) is real and not an unreasonable price this domain could bring from the right buyer. DotCommerce can have broad application and is not as technical as you make it sound. JMHO.

Absolutely. Beyond that, I'd look at home much of an inconvenience it will be for to you change domains. Do people have your email address as @dotcommerce.com? I have some domains that wouldn't fetch $1,000 on appraisal, but they're worth a lot more to me because I've become associated with them and the email address is commonly used.
